Over the last few months we’ve been working in partnership with the Hub Cafe in Altrincham to bring the ‘one for you, one for society’ concept to their customers. Anyone who orders Beans on Toast from their menu automatically donates an identical tin of Bounceback beans to the FareShare food bank in Gorton!
Andrew Smyth, Manager of the Hub, believes that the principal of ‘one for you, one for society’ has struck a chord with many of the people who use their community centre.
He added: “Allowing people an opportunity to contribute to society whilst purchasing food essentials is an innovative and transformative way to tackle many issues of poverty in our society.”
