20 countries. 20 artists. Secret dishes from around the world 2!
This year, with your support, we’re hoping to publish Secret dishes from around the world 2 – our second fundraising cook book, which will include recipes from 20 different countries and showcase artwork from 20 superb artists, who live in the 3 regions (Greater Manchester, Cheshire and North Wales) where we deliver cookery workshops and outreach activity.
The artists were selected following our open call in January – they are all at different stages of their careers and all have different styles! If our ‘all or nothing‘ crowdfunding campaign is successful (we’ll only get funding if we hit our target!), they’ve each been assigned 1 of the 20 countries that will feature in the book and will produce an original piece to feature on their respective country introduction page.
As with the first book, we’re now at the point where we need to commission the artists involved for their time and raise the funds required to self-publish the sequel.
