Want to get involved in our fight against food poverty this spring? Here’s what we’ve got coming up at our Community Cookery School and Community Kitchen in March!
World Book Day – When Words and Food Collide – 9th March
With World Book Day being on a Thursday (and obviously all the kids will be at school), we don’t want to miss out – so we are going to celebrate on Saturday 9th and we want you to join us!
Come down to our Community Kitchen for a day of fun activities, from our ‘Brilliant Books Board’, to food related activities for the kids where we’ll take elements of a well-known children’s book and bring it to life with food!
Find out more and register for tickets on our Eventbrite page.
Easter Fun Day – 30th March
Join us at our Community Kitchen for a variety of Easter activities for the whole family, as well as our new tasty Spring/Summer ‘Buy One, Give One’ menu. Kids can join our Easter Egg Hunt around Altrincham or take part in some fun Easter crafts. Best of all, kids can eat FREE on the day with every main meal purchased from our kitchen!
Find out more and register for tickets on our Eventbrite page.
Public Cookery Workshops and Learning Programmes
As usual our fun, free Community Cooking with Surplus Food workshops are running in Trafford, Greater Manchester. Each week we make a recipe out of surplus ingredients, ‘Ready, Steady, Cook’ style, to help reduce food waste.
Sign ups are now done week by week via Eventbrite.
Community Kitchen – NEW Menu!
You heard that right – on Saturday 23rd March we will be launching a brand new Spring/Summer menu at our Community Kitchen! We’re launching some fresh, tasty new dishes perfect for warmer weather, an extended menu, plus rumour has it some fan favourites may be returning…
All in all, it’s not to be missed! We will be offering free tasters on the launch day, so make sure to come down and give them a try.
Find us at 1 Central Way, Altrincham, WA14 1SB – just opposite the Everyman Cinema.
