This easy baked dessert works perfectly as a hot accompaniment to ice cream!

1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4 and prepare an oven tray with grease proof paper lined with butter.
2. In a mixing bowl, bring together the sugar and cinnamon.
3. Melt the butter in a pan over a medium heat, then lightly fry the bananas until they are lightly browned.
4. Place the bananas in the oven tray, cover evenly with the sugar and cinnamon mix then place tin foil over the top.
5. Cook in the oven for 10 minutes or until the sugar melts, then top with nuts and serve.
Serve with vanilla ice cream.
