Mango Chutney

A super, simple chutney

The perfect condiment to serve with curries!

Ingredients

ripe mangos, peeled and chopped into small cubes
4 tbsps. brown sugar
4 tbsps. white wine vinegar
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 thumb sized piece ginger, peeled and grated
1 red onion, finely diced
salt and pepper, to taste

Method

1. Combine all ingredients in a medium pan on a low-medium heat, mix well, cover and leave to cook for 30 minutes. Stirring occasionally.

Chef’s tips

For a smooth chutney blend with a hand blender once cooked.
