When the sun is shining and tummies are rumbling there is no better recipe, for a fuss-free, delicious meal that can stir the whole family’s creativity! With a few simple ingredients, these pitta pizzas can be a pre-prepared lunch time staple, or a fun family activity with different toppings to personalise each pizza.
Pack of 6 large pittas
Red Peppers
6 tbsp tomato puree
Cooked ham (optional)
70g cheddar grated
Sweetcorn
Cherry tomatoes
Allow the grill to heat.
Line up your pittas and prepare your toppings.
Spoon a generous tablespoon of tomato paste onto each pitta, and use the back of a spoon to carefully spread it to the edges of the pitta.
Add a handful of grated cheddar.
Get creative with your desired toppings!
Put on a baking tray and under the grill until the cheese bubbles and the pitta turns golden brown! This should take between 5 and 10 mins.
Serve with salad or homemade chunky chips
