Cherry Overnight Oats

Quick, easy and filling breakfast

Ingredients

250g, Rolled Oats
100g, Yogurt of your choice
100ml, milk of choice
100g, cherries – pitted and diced
2 tsp chocolate powder or shaving
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Method

  1. Add the cherries to a bowl or mason jar, followed by yogurt. Stir to incorporate the cherries.
  2. Add the oats, cinnamon and milk and gently stir to combine ingredients. 
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to reach a smooth and soft consistency.
  4. When ready to eat, stir the oats to check the consistency. You might want to add some more milk or yogurt to reach a texture of your liking.
  5. Top the oats with more cherries and the chocolate and serve.

Chef’s tips

Use coconut milk and flavoured yogurt for some extra flavour and sweetness.
